artsUNITE/UNITÉ des arts provides an online platform that is inclusive and serves as a catalyst for artists to thrive. Our mission reflects this intention, as we welcome people from all experiences, inclusive of sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, religion, race, Indigenous status, ethnicity, mental and physical ability, caregiver status, housing status, place of origin, age and all other statuses protected by the the Canadian Human Rights Act.

Several contributors to artsUNITE/UNITÉ des arts have specific criteria for individual grant and funding opportunities. These opportunities are intentionally selective: they provide funding to artists within their shared communities. As an advocate of diverse opportunities, artsUNITE/UNITÉ des arts recognizes that some contributors focus on serving specific communities. This only enhances our goal to feature as many diverse and inclusive opportunities as possible.

We will hold ourselves and each other accountable through word and action with the assurance that every member of the Artscape community be treated equitably, with dignity and respect.
