For this fourth edition, CLARK, in collaboration with the Indigenous Curatorial Collective / Collectif des commissaires autochtones (ICCA), would like to initiate a new cycle of video presentations by inviting Indigenous (First Nations, Métis or Inuit) curators and artists from any region of the land we call Canada to submit proposals for a video program that will be presented during the fall 2021 season. The selected artist or curator may work from a theme of their choice in the selection of videos works (experimental, short films, documentaries) by Indigenous artists from Quebec or elsewhere. CLARK and ICCA invite the selected candidate to complement their video program with a parallel activity (public discussion, performance, workshop, etc.).

Depending on how the COVID-19 pandemic evolves, CLARK and the ICCA will take into consideration health guidelines to choose whether the event will be held indoors, online, or presented in another context. We encourage all candidates to consider these possibilities as part of their proposal.

The total budget allowance for this project is $2,000 CAD, which covers the curatorial fee and all artists’ screening fees, costs related to any parallel activities, and other related expenses.
