Art & Design Online is a hands-on training workshop for visual artists who are interested in facilitating community-engaged artistic processes, especially online. Taking place on Zoom, this free two-part workshop will explore:

  • How to facilitate online artistic process where participants are meaningfully empowered to have creative voice within a collective context

  • Creating processes that are dynamic, engaging, and grounded in anti-oppression frameworks

  • How to curate materials and supplies for participants in ways that are accessible and budget-responsive

  • Practical tools, strategies, and activities for online community-engaged arts

  • Working across different visual arts media

Since this is an interactive, participatory workshop (and not, say, a recorded webinar), participants will need to attend in real-time.
