IN/ON/OUT Intermedia Festival is seeking an individual for the position of Festival Production Manager to support the success of the Winnipeg-based inter-arts festival taking place March 23rd-27th, 2021.

The ideal candidate will:​
-Have proven experience managing logistical elements of live performance
-Strong project management, communication, administration, organizational and planning skills
-Proven supervisory and team management experience
-Able to follow an agreed-upon work plan, and work with confidence and independence
-Ability to be resourceful and detail-oriented
-Ability to manage budgets
-A general knowledge of theatrical and production equipment and software (lighting, audio and video projection) is required
-Art gallery and public art experience an asset
-Experience and/or high learning agility with respect to project management software (Marcato, Google Apps, Microsoft Office Suite etc.) required

The Festival Production Manager will be responsible for:
-Working with the Technical Director and Artistic Director to assess the production needs of various festival shows and performers
-Reviewing venue contracts
-Production Scheduling: creating the Festival’s technical rehearsal schedule, creating master production schedule and timelines, creating load-in and strike schedules
-Production budgeting and procurement: managing the total production budget as assigned by the Artistic Director (rentals, purchases, and venue-related costs)
-On-site during venue load-in and strike at 3-4 venues during the festival
-On-call throughout the festival dates to support artists, stage management, producers and production staff
-Administration including participating in production meetings with management staff, preparing final reports, including detailed budget report, closing inventory of supplies, attending post-mortem meeting

This contract pays between $3,000-$4,000, depending on experience.
Payment schedule is flexible depending on your needs.

Contract begins December 1st, 2021 and ends March 31st, 2022.
-December 1st, 2021-March 13th, 2022: Part-time employment for festival lead-up and can be done remotely within Canada.
-March 14th-March 31st, 2022: Full-time employment and must be done in-person (Winnipeg, MB)
