Fresh Ideas is an annual mini-conference and festival, showcasing artists taking new and ground-breaking directions in puppetry. It is an afternoon of presentations and demonstrations, discussions and workshops, culminating in an evening cabaret of fresh new performances. It is a day of exciting innovations and explorations in puppetry, a stimulating event for everyone interested in current developments in the art form.

This inspiring event will be held online on Sunday, June 13, 2021.
Afternoon presentations starting at 2pm | Evening cabaret starting at 7pm

We are looking for live-to-broadcast or pre-recorded:
Presentations about your discoveries; Demonstrations & Workshops; Ideas for discussions; as well as Short performances on film/video.

Box office revenue will be split between participating groups. Artists will also receive complimentary access to all events.
We will let you know if your proposal is accepted by June 6.

Please note proposals for evening performances should be no longer than 15 minutes; daytime events can run up to 45 minutes.
