The Craft Council Gallery, St. John’s is committed to raising the profile of fine contemporary craft and expanding the boundaries of contemporary craft practice through exhibition opportunities, documentation, research and critical writing promotion, artist presentations, and educational projects.
We invite artists, groups of artists, and curators to submit exhibition proposals. Proposals are considered for any of the spaces we have available; the selected exhibitions will take place between April and December.
We are also receiving applications for 2 artists’ residencies to take place in our gallery from January to March. This is an opportunity for two emerging or established artists of any medium to seek inspiration and dive deeper into their current projects, themes, and practice over a three-month period.
