The Works Art and Design Festival is seeking Major Project applications for temporary works or installations to animate Sir Winston Churchill Square and other public spaces in Edmonton for the 2022 festival scheduled June 23-July 5. Major Projects are considered impactful and memorable anchors of the festival. Eligible projects are those that are produced or finished upon The Works’ acceptance of the proposal, or those that require extensive preparation and project management. Equity funding is available for eligible projects. Applicants seeking funding are encouraged to express interest to The Works’ Curatorial Department (curatorial@theworks.ab.ca) prior to January 21.
