Since 2015, Sur Gallery has been a leading space showcasing curatorial projects, artworks, and creative initiatives from and for the Latinx and Latin American community. We are happy to announce a call for the submissions of artists’ archival collections for the ongoing artist database project. Our intention is to document, archive, and recognize the contributions of Latin American and Latinx visual artists of the Canadian diaspora. We will develop a digital archive to connect artists, scholars, students, and cultural practitioners, establishing a dialogue with an international scope to share the relevance of these artists.
